Stock Administrator

Stock Administrators work closely with Clinical Prosthetists and Orthotists, ensuring adequate stock is on hand to meet forecast requirements.

Stock Administrators create stock orders based on estimates from clinicians. They also support the service coordinators to assist our patients with requests for consumable stock items.

Responsibilities

Based in our well-equipped stock rooms, Stock Administrators ensure the smooth and timely flow of stock from clinicians to patients.

Stock Administrators ensure recording, ordering and receipting of stock is correct and up to date. They also ensure the team is kept well informed of any changes in timelines or stock availability.

This role requires an exceptional level of:

  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and teamwork.

Skills and knowledge

Stock Administrators need to have good information technology skills, as they regularly update our bespoke patient database and use other software such as Excel and Business Central.

They also identify and recommend stock management improvements to benefit organisational and patient outcomes.

No qualification is required for the Stock Administrator role, however strong communication skills and an interest or experience in any of the areas above are beneficial.
