Orthotic Service - Patient Information

Our wraparound service of care includes orthotic services, rehabilitation and peer support services.

Our team is here to support you as long as you need us.

From the moment of referral, every step is about empowering people to live independent, fulfilling lives. Our services are provided through nine city-based centres, alongside regional clinics for harder to reach areas.

Explore the information below to learn more about what to expect from our Orthotic Service, and access helpful resources including frequently asked questions.

In 2026 a Peer Support Service was established for parents of children with Scoliosis and Cerebral Palsy, with plans to grow this service to include the needs of additional Orthotic Service patients.

Events

A number of events take place throughout the year across New Zealand, run by Peke Waihanga and our partners. Events have traditionally been targeted to amputees or people with limb difference, however this service will be expanding to include patients of our Orthotic Service. Visit the events page to find out more.
